Your knowledge and direction will play a crucial role in the success of our culinary services, establishing Locale as a leading prepared meal provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of over 10 part-time staff members.
  • Oversee all aspects of personnel management for kitchen staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and development.
  • Participate in food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee that all dishes meet premium quality standards.
  • Plan weekly staff schedules based on food production requirements and labor cost objectives.
  • Encourage and cultivate a dynamic, high-performance culture among your team.
  • Monitor inventory levels and procure supplies as necessary to ensure adequate stock without excess purchasing.
  • Manage meal plating according to specified guidelines regarding weight, quantity, and presentation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the food industry, with at least 5 years in a commissary kitchen or high-volume food preparation environment.
  • Proven experience in team management and a strong capability to foster a high-output culture.
  • A desire to learn and enhance your skill set continuously.
  • A hands-on approach to tackling various tasks as they arise.
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management practices.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an advantage.

Work Schedule:

This role requires availability from Wednesday to Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday as designated off days.
