Position Overview:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Compensation: $60.91 per hour
  • Contract Type: Temporary role with potential for permanent placement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes that span across departments, systems, external vendors, and payers.
  • Serve as a senior business process consultant, facilitating collaboration between operations, performance improvement, and IT for cross-functional needs.
  • Implement adaptable processes and practices to respond effectively to evolving organizational, business, and payer requirements.
  • Enhance existing departmental relationships to support and accelerate performance improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze business processes, system modifications, or other changes that may affect current workflows, recommending strategies for optimization.
  • Evaluate system or process architecture relevant to assigned projects.
  • Conduct business impact assessments of test plans that involve multiple departments, workflows, or systems to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Design, refine, and assist in the execution of processes that are closely aligned with system workflows.
  • Assess the impact of these workflows on current staffing, continuously monitor and refresh these flows, and propose optimal change management strategies.
  • Facilitate clear communication and foster an environment conducive to open dialogue, enabling collaborative problem-solving to enhance workflows or processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in resolving complex issues related to automated workflows or intricate processes, and guide discussions with business and operational leaders to analyze reporting needs, configure data, and develop reports utilizing specialized knowledge of reporting applications.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in system design, process workflow design, or business/systems consulting, with a focus on EPIC mechanics and revenue cycle.
  • Certifications:
    EPIC certification preferred
    Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB)
