Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Georgia State University. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our students, faculty, and staff. You will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback. You will also be responsible for resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff
  • Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of university policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer service
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of customer service experience required
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience working in a higher education setting
  • Experience working with customer relationship management software
