As a Technical Product Manager with a specialization in Product Ownership, you will be the driving force behind the continuous improvement of our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, business owners, and development teams to enhance our offerings and drive innovation with the framework of our agile sprint framework. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership: Take ownership of our products, serving as the key point of contact for product-related matters. Understand the product vision and communicate it effectively to the development teams.
  • Enhancement and Feature Roadmap: Develop and manage the product enhancement roadmap, aligning it with the overall business and technology strategy. Define clear priorities and timelines for feature delivery.
  • User Story Training: Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to gather detailed and comprehensive user stories. Train and coach business owners on how to write clear, actionable, and valuable user stories.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between development teams, business owners, and other stakeholders. Ensure a shared understanding of product requirements and priorities.
  • Project Planning and Management: Create project plans, set clear objectives, and monitor progress. Identify and mitigate risks and issues to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Define acceptance criteria for features and ensure they meet the highest quality standards. Coordinate testing efforts to ensure the product meets user expectations.
  • Documentation: Maintain product documentation, including user stories, release notes, and feature specifications. Keep stakeholders informed about the status of ongoing and upcoming work.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices, and optimizing processes for product development.

Qualifications:

  • Self-Starter with common sense who asks questions before blindly carrying forward.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager with a focus on product ownership and enhancements in a software development environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in user story creation and understanding of the Agile development lifecycle.
  • Experience in coaching and training business owners on user story creation and product ownership best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CSM) is a plus.
