Job Overview

Position: Senior Test Engineer (Temp-To-Perm)
Compensation: $30 - $33/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical devices.
  • Install software and establish Ethernet communication protocols.
  • Diagnose issues at both assembly and component levels.
  • Utilize multi-meters and leak detection instruments effectively.
  • Engage with suppliers for technical support as needed.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Gather and analyze test data; perform root cause analysis on malfunctioning units.
  • Document and interpret testing results meticulously.
  • Possibly design and construct testing fixtures.
  • May mentor junior test technicians.
  • Review and annotate test documentation.
  • Execute mechanical evaluations on prototypes and existing products to ensure compliance with safety and design standards.
  • Work from technical specifications, manuals, schematics, and both written and verbal instructions.
  • Oversee and conduct all Design Verification Testing.
  • Proactively identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Operate, inspect, and evaluate laboratory electro-mechanical testing equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Ensure all measurement, inspection, and testing laboratory equipment is calibrated according to established schedules.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with technical training; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with vacuum systems and Swagelok fittings is advantageous.
