Position Overview

We are currently in search of a Senior Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting a variety of tasks to evaluate, diagnose, and repair electromechanical products.
  • Loading software and establishing Ethernet communications.
  • Troubleshooting issues down to the assembly and component levels.
  • Utilizing multi-meters and leak detection equipment.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and technical support teams.
  • Engaging with Engineering and Quality departments.
  • Collecting and analyzing test data; performing root cause analysis on defective units.
  • Documenting and interpreting test results.
  • Possibly designing and fabricating test fixtures.
  • Providing training to junior test technicians.
  • Reviewing and marking up test documentation.
  • Executing mechanical tests on prototypes and existing products to ensure compliance with safety and design standards.
  • Working from specifications, technical manuals, schematics, and both written and verbal instructions.
  • Overseeing all Design Verification Testing.
  • Proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions.
  • Operating, inspecting, and testing laboratory electro/mechanical equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Ensuring all measurement, inspection, and testing laboratory equipment is calibrated according to established schedules.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma with technical training; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with vacuum systems and Swagelok fittings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a diverse population.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ethical and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and maintain composure under pressure.

  • Proficient in basic shop mathematics and computer skills in a Windows environment, including MRP/ERP systems and MS Office.
