Senior Test Technician

Position Summary: We are looking for a Senior Test Technician with expertise in vacuum systems, electrical diagnostics, and software proficiency to engage in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical devices.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
- Familiarity with vacuum systems and Swagelok fittings
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs
Desirable Skills:
- Associate degree in a relevant field
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical devices
- Load software and establish Ethernet communications
- Diagnose issues down to the assembly and component level
- Utilize multi-meters and leak detection equipment
- Collaborate with suppliers for technical support
- Work closely with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams
- Gather and analyze test data; perform root cause analysis on malfunctioning units
- Document and interpret test results
- Design and fabricate test fixtures as necessary
- Mentor junior test technicians when needed
- Review and update test documentation
- Execute mechanical testing on prototypes and new products to ensure compliance with safety and design specifications
- Oversee and conduct all Design Verification Testing
- Operate, inspect, and test laboratory electro-mechanical instruments such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
Compensation: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
