Job Overview

Position Summary: We are looking for a Senior Test Technician with expertise in vacuum systems, electrical diagnostics, and software proficiency to engage in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical devices.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Familiarity with vacuum systems and Swagelok fittings
  • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs

Desirable Skills:

  • Associate degree in a relevant field

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical devices
  • Load software and establish Ethernet communications
  • Diagnose issues down to the assembly and component level
  • Utilize multi-meters and leak detection equipment
  • Collaborate with suppliers for technical support
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams
  • Gather and analyze test data; perform root cause analysis on malfunctioning units
  • Document and interpret test results
  • Design and fabricate test fixtures as necessary
  • Mentor junior test technicians when needed
  • Review and update test documentation
  • Execute mechanical testing on prototypes and new products to ensure compliance with safety and design specifications
  • Oversee and conduct all Design Verification Testing
  • Operate, inspect, and test laboratory electro-mechanical instruments such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.

Compensation: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
