Job Description:

As an Auditor II, your role will involve planning and executing moderately complex audits of internal controls across various operational facets of the company. The objective is to assess whether functional areas are adhering to established guidelines, policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned segments within scheduled audits.
  • Conduct audit procedures, including interviews with auditees, documentation of processes, identification of risks and controls, and development of test plans.
  • Identify, develop, and document audit findings and recommendations using independent judgment regarding the areas under review.
  • Effectively communicate the results of audit engagements through written reports and oral presentations to management.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities, including both external and internal training and memberships in professional associations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports that clearly and concisely present audit results and suggested corrective actions.
  • Research issues and provide recommendations to enhance policies or procedures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to resolve discrepancies or support the external auditing process.
  • Maintain independence and objectivity throughout the auditing process.

Qualifications:

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification or candidacy for certification (CPA, CIA, CFE, or CISA) is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills and excellent communication abilities are essential.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $62,000 - $85,000, based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and education.
