As an AML Compliance Analyst at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in executing comprehensive Transaction Monitoring investigations for both individual and corporate clients. Your collaboration with key stakeholders in the Financial Crime Risk division will be essential to uphold the highest standards of production and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough investigative reviews and analyses to support the company's BSA/AML compliance policies and programs. This includes investigating automated alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems and referrals from law enforcement and other business units.

- Analyze transaction activities alongside KYC information, performing due diligence research to support investigations, while interpreting evidence from external resources to assess the legitimacy of customer behavior across various products.

- Document all investigations with detailed written narratives.

- Evaluate whether activities require escalation for further review and recommend if they appear suspicious, warranting the filing of a suspicious activity report.

- Incorporate feedback from the Quality Assurance Team to enhance investigation processes.

- Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Stay updated with industry standards and developments in KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC, applying relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies to case investigations.

- Review data from systems and adhere to Genpact procedures to investigate, decide, and document transaction monitoring alerts.

Minimum Qualifications

- A minimum of 2 years of compliance experience, specifically in transaction monitoring, fraud, or AML investigations, including SAR writing.

- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, such as BSA, OFAC, and FinCEN guidance.

- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, Excel, and Word.

- Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of a fast-paced, high-growth organization.

- Willingness to support in a 24/7 operational environment.

- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in compliance roles (L1/L2).

- Certification as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.

- Specific experience with cryptocurrency products, either as a user or within the digital currency sector.

- Capability to conduct detailed investigations using contractors and open-source resources to address compliance alerts, along with the ability to independently research, analyze, and propose solutions for unresolved items and discrepancies.

- Experience with various risk case management systems.

- Background in processing financial crime risk management typologies related to brokerage and virtual currency exchanges.
