Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the semiconductor or related technology industry. They will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, building strong relationships with potential customers, and managing a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Define and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives for ChipIgnite.
- Pipeline Management: Identify and qualify potential customers, build a robust sales pipeline, and effectively manage sales opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving repeat business.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive individual and team success.
- Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research, analyze competitive landscape, and identify emerging trends to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Sales Operations and Reporting: Manage sales forecasting, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports on sales performance to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the semiconductor or related technology industry.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of semiconductor design, manufacturing, and the overall industry landscape.
- Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies, manage complex sales cycles, and close deals.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
