The Microsoft Federal division was created to meet the specific mission, legal, regulatory, and procurement requirements of the United States Government (USG). Microsoft Federal is committed to a flexible approach in recruiting, hiring, and assigning personnel to meet these needs across various segments, including Civilian, Defense, and the Intelligence Community.

Required Qualifications

  • 13+ years of experience in industries such as Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, or Technology, with a focus on driving digital transformation.
  • OR a Bachelor's Degree combined with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • OR a Master's Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in making recommendations to and collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.
  • 8+ years of experience in closing large, complex agreements.
  • Experience working with mission owners/operators in the Intelligence Community.

Other Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Compliance with Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements is essential for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the necessary clearance may lead to employment action.

  • Experience in driving digital transformation within the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience working closely with the mission side of the Intelligence Community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals for assigned customers, generating qualified pipelines and creating high-value revenue opportunities.
  • Lead the execution of strategies for assigned accounts, ensuring high-volume sales and revenue growth while coordinating diverse teams.
  • Expand strategic networks with key internal and external partners to enhance account management experiences.
  • Solicit feedback to understand customer needs and develop targeted strategies that leverage industry experience.

Strategic Engagement

  • Build relationships with mission customers and industry leaders to shape strategic direction and business metrics.
  • Engage in discussions to evolve customer business models using Microsoft capabilities.
  • Utilize industry insights to address customer business challenges.

Customer and Partner Relations

  • Develop relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations to align on long-term goals.
  • Articulate Microsoft’s and partners’ perspectives to drive purchase decisions.
  • Anticipate customer needs and deliver insights on their business strategies.
