Job Summary

The Regional Demand Manager is responsible for coordinating material availability and communication. This role requires a deep understanding of planning processes and logistics, as well as effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine FFS demands by using forecasts, statistical models, and cross-functional communication with regional sales teams.
  • Perform translation process for repetitive sales forecasts, internal demands, and opportunities into FFS demand, considering utilization of remnants.
  • Lead monthly demand reviews together with Sales and Sales Controlling, challenging Sales' forecasts and requesting countermeasures for unconsumed forecast.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding critical FFS materials and free-to-sell materials at regional level S&OP consensus meetings.
  • Coordinate material availability and demands with Regional Demand Managers and Sales from other regions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Supply Planning to properly plan for new items and items to be transitioned or discontinued.
  • Ensure demand plans are created, reviewed, agreed upon, updated, and communicated to Supply Planning at least monthly for a rolling-month planning horizon.
  • Establish, monitor, and report appropriate demand planning metrics, such as FFS planning accuracy and material availability.
  • Regulate and adjust FFS inventory levels, considering customer satisfaction and business objectives.
  • Support site and Business Unit level targets, such as Safety, OTD, financials, and provide information for accurate inventory forecasts.
  • Responsible for internal order management for FFS materials within the region and import compliance for orders placed outside of the United States.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of planning processes and logistics.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification gained through professional training and experience.
  • Five years of working experience in a planning function (production planning, demand planning, or material management).
