Job Description:

As a Mechanical Hardware Engineer Graduate, you will develop expertise and practical knowledge of applications within the business environment. You will work with a team providing design, analysis, and recommendations in support of team efforts, exercising independent judgment within defined parameters.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of new products for High Performance Computing.
  • Collaborate with a design team in a rapidly changing environment to meet program objectives.
  • Assist Senior Level Product Design Engineers in designing computer system infrastructure and components and sub-assemblies.
  • Research and document component parts and generate Bills of Materials.
  • Perform hands-on testing of components and systems to validate and generate test reports for the design against program requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Typically, 0-2 years' experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience or understanding of Solidworks, Pro E, or other 3D CAD software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of design for sheet metal and plastic parts and associated production tooling and processes.
  • Understanding of thermal properties of materials and heat transfer.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
