Distribution Center Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Center Supervisor to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities- Environmental Health and Safety: Possesses knowledge of environmental policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations involving the environment.
- Asset Protection and Security: Works with specific types of tools used for theft prevention and recognizes and investigates security breaches, thefts, and vandalism.
- Transportation Operations: Ensures the proper completion of documents required by applicable laws, regulations, and safety rules involving materials transportation.
- Operations Excellence: Explains the operational functions and key functional roles of assigned department or unit and clarifies the role of each department and its relevance to the enterprise strategy.
- Risk Management: Produces and interprets common risk assessment and management reports and identifies common technology, security, or financial risks relevant to assigned function or unit.
- Process Improvement: Defines the critical workflows for executing key processes and identifies process problems that limit performance.
- Influential Communication: Presents to and influences team members and business partners, conveying messages through a basic understanding of the relevant context.
- Employee Health and Safety: Participates in OSHA and other regulatory inspections and ensures that all first aid equipment is operational.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management, Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Experience: 2 years' experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety or Asset Protections, Security, within Supply Chain, Retail.
- Certifications: 1 or More Degreed Certifications (Associate Safety Professional, Loss Prevention Certifications, Certified Security Professional).
