Area Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse or distribution center, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in supervising and leading teams.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse or distribution center
- Supervise and lead a team of associates to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency
- Monitor and maintain quality and safety standards
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that all stock is accurately tracked and recorded
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that associates have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. logistics, supply chain management, business administration)
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in a warehouse or distribution center
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
