At Acenda Integrated Health, we are dedicated to moving lives forward through our Supportive Visitation Services Program in Glassboro, New Jersey.

We are seeking a Visitation Aide to support our mission by coordinating visits between parents and resource parents, transporting children to and from visits, and supervising visits in the least restrictive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience working with children and families, particularly those involved in the child welfare system or affected by trauma.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating visits between parents and resource parents
  • Transporting children to and from visits
  • Supervising visits in the least restrictive environment
  • Helping to facilitate meaningful visits through visit prep discussions and post-visit debriefing
  • Providing timely communication to co-workers, parents, resource parents, children, and stakeholders regarding pertinent visitation information
  • Empowering parents to appropriately manage challenging behaviors in their children
  • Intervening as appropriate to ensure the safety of children during visits and modeling appropriate interactions between parents and children
  • Providing culturally competent service delivery
  • Ensuring quality and accuracy of written and verbal communications
  • Following program policies and procedures and encouraging the same in others
