Job Overview: Therapist/Supervisors provide regular supervision of staff, as well as provide in-home treatment focusing on achievement of sustainable family reunification, which ensures child safety and well-being. Flexible schedules, agency vehicle, laptop and cell phone provided.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Provides effective supervision of staff in accordance with established Supervision Protocols on agency public documents.
• Provides case supervision and performance/professional development. This includes oversight of staff productivity and field supervision.
• Address performance issues with staff in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure staff function in accordance with Program Manual and agency policies and procedures.
• Timely conducts annual employee performance evaluations of staff.
• Uses supervision effectively to explore professional development and training needs.

Therapist Responsibilites:

• Provide treatment for children in out-of-home placement and their families.
• Provide therapeutic interventions during and outside of visits, focusing on achievement of sustainable family reunification, which ensures child safety and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with the visit coordinator and DCP&P staff to ensure the seamless integration of all service elements.
• Provides culturally competent service delivery.
• Upholds ethical standards in accordance with Social Work Code of Ethics.
• Effectively engages all client populations.
• Continually assesses clients' needs.
• Provides appropriate intervention strategies and adjusts services accordingly.

Requirements:

• Must have Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field. MSW's must have an active NJ license (LSW).
• Supervisory experience and experience working with children in foster care preferred.
• Must have prior professional experience in providing treatment services to families.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.
• Strong engaging, communication and collaboration skills
• Provide culturally sensitive and responsive service delivery.
