We are seeking a qualified School Nurse Substitute to join our team at Spartanburg School District 7. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing services to students and staff in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities- Management of student medication and health records
- Operation of school health rooms and response to student accidents and illnesses
- Implementation of health screenings and follow-up prevention programs
- Staff training and parent communication
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
The substitute nurse will be paid $125 per day. Payroll is processed on the 23rd of each month, but if the 23rd falls on a weekend, payment will be made on the prior Friday.
