Job Title: Travel Acute Registered Nurse

DaVita is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Acute Registered Nurse. As a Travel Acute Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals and dialysis centers, and provide high-quality patient care to individuals with end-stage renal disease.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with end-stage renal disease, including administering dialysis treatments and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify potential complications, and develop strategies to prevent or manage them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • At least 1 year of experience in acute dialysis nursing, with a focus on hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
