The Comprehensive Nursing Care Specialist at Providence Health & Services provides expert nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment, tailoring care to individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs throughout the lifespan.

This role facilitates care coordination by utilizing the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs via direct and telephonic/telehealth or electronic encounters.

The Comprehensive Nursing Care Specialist works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

This position maintains compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements, supporting clinicians in delivering quality healthcare to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ambulatory care environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
  • 18 months professional nursing experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
