Position: Logistics Sales Account Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients, evaluate their shipping needs, and establish new partnerships through proactive sales initiatives.
- Negotiate rates and conditions with both existing and prospective clients to secure new business opportunities.
- Achieve brokerage revenue goals to fulfill individual and team objectives on a regular basis.
- Oversee the management of client freight operations; proactively address any challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Work closely with carrier operations and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth freight handling and communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by consistently delivering professionalism, integrity, and outstanding service.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, focusing on Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, or International Business preferred
- Experience in transportation, warehousing, or related industries advantageous
- Previous sales experience beneficial
