Overview

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Clerk to join our team in Placer County. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Administrative Clerk. In this position, you will perform a wide range of general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and correspondence. You will also serve as a receptionist, answering phones and responding to inquiries from the public.

  • Provide administrative support: Perform various clerical tasks, such as data entry, typing, and filing documents.
  • Serve as a receptionist: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors in a professional manner.
  • Maintain records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of correspondence, files, and other documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of experience: Have at least two years of experience performing similar duties in a government office or other related field.
  • Educational background: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills: Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and the public.
