Job Title: Customer Service Supervisor

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is a leading provider of waste management services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Supervisor will provide leadership and support to our customer service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. This role will act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing product and service information, answering questions, and resolving customer issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily leadership and support to the customer service team, ensuring that customer service standards are met.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing product and service information and resolving customer issues.
  • Support customer service team tasks, including data entry, phone support, email, and social media.
  • Research customer issues and inquiries using all available resources.
  • Process account adjustments and ensure completion of recycling rebates, route auditor findings, and updating database worksheets.
  • Ensure that residential and commercial work orders are reviewed and closed.
  • Balance multiple projects effectively and recommend systemic improvements.
  • Set and communicate expectations and administer accountability standards, including processing evaluations and daily leadership and coaching of employees.
  • Oversee training and development programs to ensure department goals are met.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work atmosphere with a culture of respect.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of call center software, speech analytic software, and workforce management software.
  • Ability to motivate staff and deal effectively with performance issues to meet standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, judgment/problem-solving, and decision-making skills in areas of personnel management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts on a professional level.
  • Consistently presents and maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Efficient and effective work habits to work both independently and as a team.
