We are excited to offer the position of Photodetector Technical Support Specialist at GPD Optoelectronics Corp. This role involves supporting the manufacture of commercial and high reliability InGaAs and Germanium photodetectors by performing quality-related functions such as incoming material inspection, external pre-cap/seal visual inspection, final inspection, simple electrical measurements, documentation review, and data entry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality inspections and testing of photodetectors
  • Support the calibration program and manage equipment records
  • Participate in internal audits and generate, investigate, and close NC / CAPA reports
  • Evaluate MRB material and RMAs

This is a full-time, non-exempt role that requires a high school degree or equivalent, 3 years of manufacturing experience, and strong problem-solving skills. The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
