Collaborative Support Programs is a dynamic organization dedicated to providing high-quality support services to individuals with psychiatric and substance use disabilities. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team.

Role Overview

In this role, you will work closely with residents to develop and implement personalized service plans that promote independence and wellness. You will provide direct support, skill development, and community resource linkages to help individuals achieve their full potential.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mental health principles and have experience working with individuals with psychiatric and/or substance use disabilities. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional time management skills, outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Office products.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to residents in areas such as housing, emotional health, physical health, social, employment, and educational goals.
  • Collaborate with community-based organizations to provide resources and support to residents.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of resident interactions.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing education and professional growth.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of related work or life experience required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and general computer literacy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals living with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $19.23 - $21.63 per hour based on education and experience. Our benefits package includes medical, free DMO dental, and free vision coverage, as well as 6 weeks PTO and 11 holidays. Rotating weekends on call by phone are also available with added compensation.
