Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at McLaren USA. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide total nursing care to residents as directed by the Medical Director, attending physician, Director of Nursing, and designated alternates.
  • Conduct daily resident visits, observe and evaluate physical, emotional, and social needs, and complete appropriate reports and documentation.
  • Participate in the resident care review process, assist in establishing resident goals, problem resolutions, approaches, and revisions as needed.
  • Prepare assessments, resident care plans, and documents in the medical record according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Administer medications and record them in the Medical Administration Record (MAR).
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities for direct care staff per resident's needs.
Requirements
  • Valid LPN licensure from the State of Michigan.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous geriatric experience.
