Job Summary

The Resident Relations Associate assists the Property Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the property, addressing maintenance, leasing, finance, administration, and overall customer satisfaction and retention. This role serves as a liaison between the maintenance team and residents, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in addressing property needs and resident concerns
• Address resident complaints and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Schedule appointments for repairs and meetings with residents
• Prepare correspondence and notices as needed
• Maintain accurate records of resident accounts and lease information
• Follow up with residents to ensure work orders are completed correctly and efficiently
• Assist with rent increases, late payments, collections, evictions, and the move-in/out process
• Perform other tasks as required by management

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Prior experience in residential real estate preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Experience with Yardi or comparable software a plus
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
