Job Description:


The Biology Educator will primarily deliver instruction in human anatomy and human physiology, while also teaching both majors and non-majors Biology courses and other related subjects as required.

Key Responsibilities:


65% Development of educational materials in Biology disciplines, which includes but is not limited to; timely submission of course syllabi and supporting educational resources to the Division.

Delivery of instructional content in Biology disciplines, which includes but is not limited to; communication of all student grades to learners and the Division, as well as timely submission of Student Learning Outcomes to the Division.

30% Office hours and student mentoring. Participation in committee work and other University service activities.

5% Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field from a regionally accredited institution.

OR
Master's degree in an unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in a relevant Biology field from a regionally accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in a relevant field from an accredited institution.

2 years of teaching experience in both in-person and online formats.

Salary:
$40,000.00-$45,000.00
