Overview:

Baton Rouge Community College is actively seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Virtual Biology Educator. This role is designed for those who are passionate about teaching and can effectively engage students in an online learning environment.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Department Chair.

Location:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in biology through online platforms.
  • Develop and implement engaging course materials that facilitate student learning.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain communication with students to support their academic success.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in biology or a related field, or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in biological or life sciences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in online teaching is highly desirable.
