We are seeking a highly qualified Instructor/Assistant Professor of Biology to join our faculty team at Louisiana State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching human anatomy and human physiology, as well as instructing majors and non-majors in Biology and other related courses.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and teach course materials in Biology related fields, including human anatomy and human physiology.
- Communicate grades to students and the Division, and submit Student Learning Outcomes to the Division in a timely manner.
- Provide office hours and student advising, as well as participate in committee work and other University service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the University.
- Master's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- OR Master's degree in an unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in a related Biology field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in a related field and 2 years of teaching experience, both in-person and online.
- Competitive salary range of $40,000.00-$45,000.00.
