Talis Group's client is a leading manufacturer in the consumer products space, seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join their team in Southern Indiana. As an integral part of their HR leadership, this role will support a large, unionized workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Promote positive employee/labor relations and investigate employee issues.
  • Lead and develop a small onsite HR team that supports Employee/Labor Relations, Recruiting, Training, and Safety.
  • Provide decision support through the compilation and reporting of various HR data.
  • Oversee workplace investigations, disciplinary action, and ensure consistency in the application of policies.
  • Work closely with union representatives to administer contracts, manage grievances, and navigate union relationships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, SHRM certification desired.
  • Fluent (verbal/written) in English and Spanish.
  • Proven experience with union relations and contract administration.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR Generalist background.
  • Extensive Excel experience (advanced user level).
  • Ability to work onsite and be available across three shifts as occasionally needed.
