We are currently looking for dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to enhance our healthcare team.

Available Shifts: PRN / Per Diem

Key Responsibilities:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform essential clinical duties within the unit, ensuring comprehensive patient care while adhering to the nursing process as defined by the relevant Nurse Practice Act. The LPN will play a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient unit environment under the guidance of the Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, overseeing nursing activities, and ensuring high standards of care are met. Key aspects of the LPN role involve:

  • Exhibiting clinical proficiency.
  • Managing patient care effectively.
  • Enhancing the quality of care provided.
  • Building professional relationships with patients and families.
  • Utilizing nursing skills to fulfill hospital responsibilities.
  • Developing expertise in specific clinical areas.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active and valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the respective state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
  • IV Certification is mandatory.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Three (3) years of experience in medical/surgical settings is advantageous.
  • One (1) year of specialized experience is preferred.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Understanding of regulatory standards and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Capacity to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Proficient in relevant computer and software applications.
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.
