Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess student learning in a clinical setting, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative pedagogies.
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, materials, assignments, quizzes, and exams that meet departmental guidelines and student needs.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, addressing academic and professional concerns.
  • Maintain open and regular office hours for students, responding to their emails and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in national and departmental academic committee meetings, contributing to the completion of applicable deliverables.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in nursing or a related healthcare field (preferred).
  • Master's degree in nursing.
  • Active and unencumbered RN license.
  • A minimum of two years recent clinical teaching experience.
  • Recent clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting within the last three years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching roles such as anatomy & physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, pathophysiology, pediatrics, ob/gyn, med-surg.
  • Ability to utilize effective on-ground and online teaching platforms to coordinate class activities, assignments, discussions, and grading.
