About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician is a critical member of our team, responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of production machinery and facilities at Milwaukee Tool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, including conveyors, forklifts, stretch wrappers, and tape machines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair distribution/production machinery safely and quickly when failures occur.
  • Provide support for all departments in the distribution center to maintain productivity.
  • Order necessary parts and supplies to maintain equipment and inventory.
  • Develop and maintain a complete PM schedule for all equipment.
  • Aid with cleaning and custodial duties.
  • Train and instruct facilities technicians.
  • Maintain 5S techniques in the shop and work areas.
  • Perform building repairs and other duties as required, such as light plumbing, painting, and contacting contracted labor for facilities upkeep.

Requirements:

  • Requires education equivalent to four years of high school.
  • Three years plus of warehouse maintenance experience required.

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing for long periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes.
  • Able to work in various temperature conditions.
  • Operation of motorized and manual pallet jack.
