Assistant Director for Diversity and Inclusion

Weill Cornell Medical College is seeking an experienced Assistant Director for Diversity and Inclusion to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diversity and inclusion initiatives, as well as experience in developing and implementing affirmative action plans. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
About the Role
This position involves leading diversity and inclusion initiatives, developing and implementing affirmative action plans, and providing technical assistance to university partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data, identifying trends and patterns, and providing recommendations for improvement. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with HR and other stakeholders to develop and implement training programs and workshops on EEO/AA policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a culture of equity and inclusion
* Analyze complex data to identify trends and patterns and provide recommendations for improvement
* Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to develop and implement training programs and workshops on EEO/AA policies and procedures
* Provide technical assistance and consultation to university partners on diversity and inclusion initiatives
* Work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree required; J.D., Master's, or Advanced degree preferred
* Minimum 5 years of experience developing and implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
