Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, including bank and credit card account reconciliations, coordination of annual audits, and review of financial reports as needed.
  • Evaluate and report on financial performance, including income statement variances, and communicate financial outcomes to management, alongside budget preparation and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls over accounting and financial processes.
  • Manage the complete revenue cycle, including deferred revenue and cost capitalization.
  • Enhance systems and procedures while initiating corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with audit services to guarantee adherence to all regulations.
  • Oversee daily financial operations within the organization, such as payroll, invoicing, and transaction processing.
  • Monitor the company's financial health and performance to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification is a significant advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience with ASC 606, revenue recognition, and variance analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • High proficiency in financial management and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Leadership experience, including employee management and knowledge of data privacy standards.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business principles and practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and forecasting methodologies.
  • An analytical mindset, comfortable working with numerical data.
