Job Summary:

As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with ownership and senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Human Resources Department: Supervise and manage a team of HR professionals to ensure the effective execution of HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all HR practices and policies comply with federal and state employment laws and regulations, minimizing the risk of non-compliance and associated penalties.
  • Employee Relations and Communications: Foster positive employee relations by providing guidance, support, and counseling to employees, and serving as a liaison between management and employees.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage open enrollment, 401(k) information sessions, and other employee communication sessions to ensure a seamless benefits administration process.
  • Workers' Compensation and Employee Safety: Administer workers' compensation claims, report incidents, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Performance Management and Development: Oversee the Employee Performance Evaluation process, ensuring that employees receive regular feedback and coaching to drive performance improvement.
  • Training and Development: Manage employee training records, ensuring that employees receive the necessary training and development opportunities to excel in their roles.
  • HR Systems and Processes: Coordinate and manage human resources source documents, forms, and content to ensure seamless HR operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Six years of experience in HR, with a proven track record of success in workforce planning, talent management, and HR operations.
  • Certifications: PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent written, analytic, and oral communication skills in English, bilingual a plus.
  • Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
