Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive medication management for patients
  • Reviewing physician orders and dispensing medications
  • Maintaining accurate patient profiles and monitoring drug therapies
  • Overseeing pharmacy technicians and students
  • Adhering to Pharmacy Policies and Procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Valid and active PA license in good standing
  • Understanding of the Joint Commission and Department of Health process
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of staff and personnel
  • Ability to perform dosage calculations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PGY 1 Residency Graduate
  • 2-4 years of Experience in Inpatient Hospital Setting
