Inpatient Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Emergency Medicine Full-Time Position

As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Emergency Medicine, you will play a vital role in our Inpatient Pharmacy Department, supporting over 950 inpatient beds across our HUP Main Campus and HUP Pavilion.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to integrate seamlessly with our healthcare team, and demonstrate the ability to supervise and direct technician staff.
Responsibilities will include designing, recommending, monitoring, evaluating, and documenting patient-specific pharmacotherapy, as well as participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
Additionally, you will contribute to the advancement of pharmacy practice through participation in professional organizations, publication, and presentation of original research.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, recommend, monitor, evaluate, and document patient-specific pharmacotherapy

Requirements:
- PA Pharmacist license required
- Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties Certification in area of specialty practice (or Pharmacotherapy if no specialty certification available)
- Pharmacy- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
