We are seeking an experienced Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer; Workforce Analytics to join our team, leveraging extensive experience in analytical thought leadership for a sales organization. Your mission will be to drive strategic decision-making by unlocking insights that enable leadership to look around corners using cutting-edge technology.

**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position ranges from $137,400/year to $226,600/year, depending on location. Total compensation includes base pay, equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits.

Job Description:

The SMGS Ops Workforce Management Team for the AWS Industries Business Unit is seeking an Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer; Workforce Analytics who can lead development of analytic insight, strategic initiatives, revenue planning, sales forecasting, and workforce analytics, and resource planning & forecasting. As a critical partner to sales and sales operations leaders, you will help them prioritize initiatives, identify gaps in processes, and remove barriers to execution.

You will build cutting-edge workforce analytics solutions to optimize productivity, capacity planning, and performance. This involves developing predictive models and data mining techniques to identify trends, opportunities, and risks across our global sales team. You will also collaborate with sales, finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, and operations leaders to align on key business questions and deliver meaningful, action-oriented insights.

Your responsibilities will include creating mechanisms and processes to support our field sales team by ensuring they maximize their investment in time, mindshare, and resources while empowering them with the tools, time, and focus to constantly exceed end customer expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
