We are seeking a Nutrition Service Aide to join our team at Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center. This is a wage position with no benefits, requiring a commitment to working weekends and varying shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the dining room to support residents as needed.
- Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, production sheets, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
- Deliver meal carts or trays to residents, wash pots and pans, assist in food preparation and assembly, and remove waste.
- Work collaboratively with the Culinary Department to meet the needs of residents.
- Prior experience in food services or nutrition services.
- Ability to work weekends and varying shifts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
