Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at ConnextCare. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience from the moment they arrive at our center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Register patients for their scheduled appointments, collect and verify demographic and insurance information, and scan driver licenses and insurance cards into our electronic medical record system.
  • Payment and Billing: Collect payment from patients for their visit, post charges on patient accounts, and record all payments collected.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Greet patients, visitors, and representatives, direct them to the appropriate office or destination, and answer incoming phone calls.
  • Administrative Tasks: Distribute and secure signature for required consent forms, verify insurance eligibility, and initiate encounter forms for patient visits.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Nurse Manager and other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, office applications, and computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and electronic medical record systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work well in a team environment, demonstrate proper judgment and decision-making skills, and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.

We offer a competitive salary range of $15.25-$17.75 depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.
