Job Overview
The primary objective of this role is to deliver critical administrative processes, technical expertise, and guidance as outlined. This position serves as the Lead on assigned projects or handles architectural tasks of varying complexity.
- Transform global strategic objectives into actionable procedures for project implementation.
- Lead the application of Cost Competitive Execution methodologies to devise the most economical total project solutions for engineering disciplines.
- Formulate and assess project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other foundational project documents across all project phases.
- Generate estimates and schedules, progress reports, and manpower forecasts.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze key material quantities; provide insights and forecasts.
- Create and evaluate specifications, including design criteria.
- Serve as the Supervising Lead, offering guidance and mentorship to other leads and junior engineers, including input on performance evaluations and counseling.
- Assess and independently recommend solutions to complex problems in alignment with organizational and project objectives.
- Travel may be required for business-related matters.
- Adhere to attendance and punctuality expectations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Job Requirements
- NAAB accredited professional architectural degree with sixteen (16) years of relevant experience.
- Effective communication skills with diverse audiences, including management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Technical knowledge pertinent to the role.
- Ability to comprehend and apply relevant local, state/province, and federal/national regulations and guidelines.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints.

- Building code analysis and application.
- Architectural specifications.
- Building planning and design.
- Detailing of building envelopes.
- Detailing of architectural materials and systems.
- Vendor document review.
- Discipline codes and standards, commercial material availability and costs, construction methods.
- Effort-hour estimation and staff forecasting.
- Managing and leading large-scale projects.
- Project setup, control-level scheduling, progress reporting, and project closure.
- Intermediate computer skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D architectural design software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Bentley MicroStation, Bentley OpenBuildings, and Sketchup.
- EPC project experience in commercial or industrial sectors.
Preferred Qualifications
- NCARB certification.
- Professional architectural registration.
- Advanced knowledge in:
- Site master planning.
- Architectural programming.
- Conceptual design of buildings and sites.
- 3D visualization and renderings.
- Sustainable design practices.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software.
- Practical field experience.
- Active participation in external technical societies.
- EPC project experience with the US Department of Energy or other federal agencies.
- EPC project experience in nuclear facility projects under a quality assurance program.
- EPC project experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors.
Salary Range
$135,000 to $250,000
Market Rate
The market rate for this role is typically at the midpoint of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are influenced by factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions.
