BB&W Architects is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect/Project Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-10 years of design and technical experience in an architectural office, with a strong background in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
They will be responsible for managing and executing all stages of complex architectural projects, including programming, design, presentation drawings, construction documents, specifications, construction administration, project management, and client contact through project closeout.
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
The ideal candidate will be a current resident of the contiguous United States and be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute all stages of complex architectural projects
- Track project schedules, budget, and deliverable requirements
- Provide interdisciplinary coordination with consultants and coordinate with AHJs to ensure project code compliance
- Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types
- Work directly to maintain communication with the project team and Principals, and lead and mentor junior team members
