Job Title: ICU Assistant Manager

At Nuvance Health, we are seeking an experienced ICU Assistant Manager to join our team at Danbury Hospital. As a key member of our Patient Care Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Patient Care Manager in implementing and monitoring the patient care delivery system and related nursing practice standards.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and day-to-day management of the ICU nursing staff.
  • Ensure quality, financials, employee engagement, and patient experience align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to achieve departmental objectives.

Requirements:

  • BSN or Advanced degree in nursing required (or completion within 2 years).
  • 2 years of ICU experience, with 1 year of leadership experience or demonstrated leadership skills.
  • CT State RN License.
