Responsibilities
  • Operate shuttle buses safely and efficiently, ensuring passengers arrive at their destinations on time and in a seamless manner.
  • Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
  • Be at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform, possessing a valid state-issued driver's license and maintaining an acceptable DMV record.
  • Communicate with the garage office about debris, water, oil spills, and other issues, and substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area to assist customers.
  • Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, and assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement, and a Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
  • Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and/or weekends, may be required.
