Dispatcher - FT

GLOBAL PARKING SYSTEMS - MSY is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support safe and proper shuttle operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling vehicles and drivers, managing employee communication, and ensuring seamless shift management.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule vehicles and drivers for fixed route service, covering open shifts as needed.
• Utilize working knowledge of basic office equipment and Microsoft Office products to perform job duties.
• Ensure timely and accurate attendance, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and directing customers to Facility Managers as necessary.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, and policy violations to Facility Managers, facilitating a safe working environment.
• Coordinate monthly driver meetings, company training, and daily operating procedures, maintaining thorough knowledge of field operations and service areas.
• Assist Facility Managers with additional duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Prior experience with shuttle or dispatched transportation operations, scheduling, and employee management is preferred.
• Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read, comprehend, write, speak, and communicate job-related information in English.
• Mathematical skills, including ability to add and subtract, and understand Hours-of-Service regulations.
