Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Life Sciences

City Colleges of Chicago is seeking a Tenure-Track Faculty in Life Sciences to join our team. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Life Sciences department.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in Life Sciences, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and program assessment.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives.
- Master's degree or higher in Life Sciences or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience in an academic setting.
- Knowledge of Brightspace Learning Management System or similar learning management systems.
- Prior experience with online teaching and/or teaching certification is strongly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
