Faculty Opportunities in Pediatric Genetics and Genomics

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics invites applications for tenured or tenure-track faculty positions in pediatric genetics and genomics. We welcome candidates with a focus on genetics, genomics, immunology, or neuroscience, as well as those with a focus on linking fundamental discovery in mammalian developmental biology to pediatric diseases.

Appointees will join a collegial department with a history of important contributions to basic, translational, and clinical research. Responsibilities will include teaching students and/or house staff and fellows, and clinical service commensurate with the individual's qualifications and interests. Leadership opportunities are available for highly experienced applicants.

Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Appointees will have access to outstanding colleagues and graduate students affiliated with numerous degree-granting programs, as well as state-of-the-art core facilities.

The primary appointments will be in the Department of Pediatrics, with opportunities for close interactions with other departments, divisions, and institutes at the University of Chicago.

To be considered, applicants must have a medical or medical and doctoral degree (MD or MD/PhD) and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
