Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Science Adjunct Faculty Member to join our team. As an Adjunct Professor of Science, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of science courses, including Physical Science, Environmental Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Microbiology. You will work closely with our faculty team to develop an effective student experience, facilitate courses in a blended, flipped classroom environment, and empower students to develop competency in their chosen field.
Responsibilities- Teach a variety of science courses, including Physical Science, Environmental Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Microbiology
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating technology-based teaching platforms and adaptive courseware engines
- Collaborate with faculty team to develop an effective student experience, including data-driven planning and student support interventions
- Communicate professionally and relate well with students, colleagues, and administrators
- Maintain current and active content knowledge in the expertise area, possessing appropriate expertise and credentials
- Master's degree in a relevant field, with a focus on teaching and learning in higher education
- Experience teaching science courses, with a proven track record of student success and engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to differentiate instruction and support based on student needs, with a focus on real-world relevance and applicability
- Technology proficiency, including experience with digital tools for teaching and learning management systems
